Bubbly Blueberry Oatmeal!

Yesterday I looked in the freezer and saw a package of blueberries. I thought hmmm I should use these up and make some homemade blueberry oatmeal! It was easy as pie this is all you need:
Blueberries (fozen or fresh)
plain oatmeal
sugar

Follow the plain oatmeal directions, while cooking the oatmeal add in the blueberries. while cooking and stirring add in sugar. Sugar messurments vary so you have to taste as you go. When oatmeal is done cooking and blueberries are soft and warm, take it off the heat and enjoy!

Rainbow Pancakes Day!

So one friday morning (my day off) I woke up with my son and asked him "want to make Rainbow Pancakes?" He leaped off the bed and went running down to the kitchen! I got out the pancake mix and followed the directions on the bag. Then we got out three cereal bowls and took out the amount we would use to make 1 pancake and put it in each bowl. Then we added the neon food coloring to them and even we mixed to see what colors they would make. Then we cooked them up and poured syrup on them and yummy! They were so good!

Leif going nom nom with a blue pancake!

The reason why I do rainbow pancakes isnt just for the fun of color its also a fun way to teach your child cooking, messuring, colors, mixing colors and the out come of mixing a certain color with another. It also gives time of bonding with your child or children. Its a fun family project, even if its just you and your little one its a fun time!

Talk,Teach,Flower,and Candle

Pick a flower, lay it next to a candle and light the candle. In remeberance of the beautiful souls who have left our home too early, the ones that we have met,the ones we shared our oxygen we breathe in with, water we drink with, the emotions we endure.
Who ever, what ever you are, parent, teacher, sibling, student, aunt, uncle, grandparent, ect. talk to the ones around you about treat others with dignity, respect, and equality. With simple statments, talks you can help prevent bullying. Whoever you are, teachers are great for this because they are in the class rooms of those we are bullied and those who are bullies. Its all of OUR responciblity to teach others about how bullying is a forum of ensucerity. I was bullied and I was lucky to have made it through and not been bullied nearly as bad as those who have lossed their lives but I will be sure to educate my son and possible students (because I want to teach) about the effects of bullying.

Color Therapy

Do you ever remember when you were a child getting your crayons and coloring book or coloring books out and just getting into your picture that your bringing to life with color?
Color is what our souls need. Alot of people are not aware of that, but its true. Think of it like this, you are stuck in a room with black walls and only the objects are black and white. Another day you are put into a room thats bursting with colors! How will you feel? Even try staring at a black peice of construction paper and then a peice of paper with lots of colors on it. See how your mood and brain reacts to it.
If you have kids or younger sibblings look at their coloring books, sit down with them and color a page. It will help you release stress, depression and when your in a "blah" kinda mood or feel like everything in your life is out of control. If you dont have a child or younger sibblings go to a store even the dollar store or 99 cent store and pick up a coloring book that you like and a box of crayons. If you dont have the money to or just cant see to find one you like you can always google, bing, aol, ect search coloring book pages in the images section and print them up. There is NO age limit on coloring! Who ever says there is; is a fruit-loop! Color is good for the soul and stimulates our brains. Even as teens and adults we need to still stimulate our brains. Alot of people are not aware but we all have what is called a hidden eye.Its basically like a window, what I mean by that is,imagine a room with thick black velvet curtains. There is no light in the room and without the sun shining through there will be no light. If the curtains are open there will be light in the room. Still with me? What im explaining is if our hidden eye is not exposed to light including color it will effect you leading to depression. Color feeds the mind, body and soul.  Just break out the coloring books and crayons sit down and color, get into the picture you are bringing to life with color. It will help you in so many ways youll be amazed.

Matilda

So...I havent ever done this but for the first time I am. I am doing a movie review! YAY
Before I get started,I dont normally watch movies, unless they are magical, inspiring and childrens. I am not a fan of movies that people my age are into I am embaressed to say but I really dont get sexual humor or crude humor or any "bitch fighting" humor excuse the language but there was no other term for that,my mom and step dad were watching the movie Brides Maids and I could NOT stand the language and talk of that movie. Ugggh! It was like shut up! My gosh!

So without further a due,my review!

Matilda is a very inspiring and sweet movie,It is one of my favorite movies and I just finished watching so I got the inspiration to write a review. Its about a little girl who is brave and smart. She unlocks powers she has in her mind.
I personally feel this is a movie every child should have in their movie collection to remind them to be brave,be themselves and know they are never alone.
No one is too old for this movie I am 20 years old and still enjoy it!
Its simple, fun, sweet, heart warming, and has a twist of adventure,

One of the other characters of the movie I just adore is Miss Honey,Matilda's teacher. She is so sweet and magical in her own way. She loves her students, later stands up to Miss Trenchbull who is her aunt that treated her badly and took her childhood home.

The friendship and adventure with Miss Honey and Matilda is magical,Matilda uses her special power Telechinesis to rescue one of miss Honeys treasures her doll that her mother who died when she was 2 gave her.Along with some of her other treasures she had to leave behind when leaving her home occupied by her aunt Miss Trenchbull.

Miss Trenchbull is the "villian" persay of the the movie who is BIG and SCARY! She hates children and is later defeated by Matilda and Miss Honey.

One thing I must say,is that I can sure relaite to Matilda's family! Her mother, obsesses on her looks. Spending her time on her hair and make-up! Her father spending his time with the television and a mean brother.

I just adore Matilda's sence of fashion! The little bow is too cute! Reminds me of me and my hat that I now obsess over! I used to wear a bow when I was real little myself.

Another thing I must say is I admire Matilda for her bravery and smarts! She is an amazing character who is inspiring to all. No matter what her parents and brother said she did what she wanted, she made her way,she stood her ground and never stoped being her.
I will say I am sure going to invest in buying a copy of the book Matilda by Roald Dahl and review that after I read it. I heard it is as good as the movie.

Why Mothers Need Their Sons

1. They teach their mothers that they can do anything!

 3. They show them that everyday doesnt go by without a smile.

4. They always give their mommy's kisses when needed.

 5. They always bring them comfort when others cant or dont.

 6. They give their mommys the unconditional love they need and never knew they needed.

 7. They are the little helpers.

8. They give their mommys confidence and thumbs up in the kitchen.

9. They cuddle their mommys tightly to keep them safe from the monsters.

                                10. They protect their mommy's from the bad.

MOST OF ALL THEY TEACH THEIR MOMMYS THAT NOT ALL GUYS ARE BIG JERKS!
