My Dream and Current Goal

My current goal and dream is to become a Science teacher for Jr.High. Its been a goal of mine for qite a while now,Theres just somthing about it that rings true that tells me your ment to do it! Yeah ive had career goals in the past but NOTHING like this!

I do invision my class room all the time,I think of how I will open the door to questions and discovery to my students at such a young age. I want it to be fun,I want my students to walk in their first day and think WOW! Ill have books, posters, pets, models, plants, anything you can think of that would be eye grabbing!I want every day to be a learning adenture. I would have science experiments and hands on learning. All my students work would be up on the walls for encouragment and praise. My students would know that there is NO such thing as a stupid question in my class! No sir! My class room is all about questions and answers! I want to be that teacher students can talk to and trust in case of any problems im there. I want to be that teacher that is unforgetable because I let my students think free, try new experiments, learn, discover, ask questions no matter how crazy they are!

Even they days we have to have book work I want to have atleast 20 minutes set aside for question time and science chat. I have thought of having teams by color (red team, yellow team, blue team..ect.) like science groups so they could do projects together and observe the class pets or plants or whatever the assignment is! Id even bring Art into Science with lots of art supplies for my students to make colorful and amazing posters and projects.

Id even have a photo wall of my students projects, working together, class projects, ect. My students would SEE their hard work and what they do! They would have that encouragment and support to succeed and go far.Being a teacher is my calling, its my dream, its my goal. I know one day I will be standing in my own class room proud of the goal I reached and knowing I have made a difference in learning even if its only a small amount of students.
