Talk,Teach,Flower,and Candle

Pick a flower, lay it next to a candle and light the candle. In remeberance of the beautiful souls who have left our home too early, the ones that we have met,the ones we shared our oxygen we breathe in with, water we drink with, the emotions we endure.
Who ever, what ever you are, parent, teacher, sibling, student, aunt, uncle, grandparent, ect. talk to the ones around you about treat others with dignity, respect, and equality. With simple statments, talks you can help prevent bullying. Whoever you are, teachers are great for this because they are in the class rooms of those we are bullied and those who are bullies. Its all of OUR responciblity to teach others about how bullying is a forum of ensucerity. I was bullied and I was lucky to have made it through and not been bullied nearly as bad as those who have lossed their lives but I will be sure to educate my son and possible students (because I want to teach) about the effects of bullying.

Color Therapy

Do you ever remember when you were a child getting your crayons and coloring book or coloring books out and just getting into your picture that your bringing to life with color?
Color is what our souls need. Alot of people are not aware of that, but its true. Think of it like this, you are stuck in a room with black walls and only the objects are black and white. Another day you are put into a room thats bursting with colors! How will you feel? Even try staring at a black peice of construction paper and then a peice of paper with lots of colors on it. See how your mood and brain reacts to it.
If you have kids or younger sibblings look at their coloring books, sit down with them and color a page. It will help you release stress, depression and when your in a "blah" kinda mood or feel like everything in your life is out of control. If you dont have a child or younger sibblings go to a store even the dollar store or 99 cent store and pick up a coloring book that you like and a box of crayons. If you dont have the money to or just cant see to find one you like you can always google, bing, aol, ect search coloring book pages in the images section and print them up. There is NO age limit on coloring! Who ever says there is; is a fruit-loop! Color is good for the soul and stimulates our brains. Even as teens and adults we need to still stimulate our brains. Alot of people are not aware but we all have what is called a hidden eye.Its basically like a window, what I mean by that is,imagine a room with thick black velvet curtains. There is no light in the room and without the sun shining through there will be no light. If the curtains are open there will be light in the room. Still with me? What im explaining is if our hidden eye is not exposed to light including color it will effect you leading to depression. Color feeds the mind, body and soul.  Just break out the coloring books and crayons sit down and color, get into the picture you are bringing to life with color. It will help you in so many ways youll be amazed.

Matilda

So...I havent ever done this but for the first time I am. I am doing a movie review! YAY
Before I get started,I dont normally watch movies, unless they are magical, inspiring and childrens. I am not a fan of movies that people my age are into I am embaressed to say but I really dont get sexual humor or crude humor or any "bitch fighting" humor excuse the language but there was no other term for that,my mom and step dad were watching the movie Brides Maids and I could NOT stand the language and talk of that movie. Ugggh! It was like shut up! My gosh!

So without further a due,my review!

Matilda is a very inspiring and sweet movie,It is one of my favorite movies and I just finished watching so I got the inspiration to write a review. Its about a little girl who is brave and smart. She unlocks powers she has in her mind.
I personally feel this is a movie every child should have in their movie collection to remind them to be brave,be themselves and know they are never alone.
No one is too old for this movie I am 20 years old and still enjoy it!
Its simple, fun, sweet, heart warming, and has a twist of adventure,

One of the other characters of the movie I just adore is Miss Honey,Matilda's teacher. She is so sweet and magical in her own way. She loves her students, later stands up to Miss Trenchbull who is her aunt that treated her badly and took her childhood home.

The friendship and adventure with Miss Honey and Matilda is magical,Matilda uses her special power Telechinesis to rescue one of miss Honeys treasures her doll that her mother who died when she was 2 gave her.Along with some of her other treasures she had to leave behind when leaving her home occupied by her aunt Miss Trenchbull.

Miss Trenchbull is the "villian" persay of the the movie who is BIG and SCARY! She hates children and is later defeated by Matilda and Miss Honey.

One thing I must say,is that I can sure relaite to Matilda's family! Her mother, obsesses on her looks. Spending her time on her hair and make-up! Her father spending his time with the television and a mean brother.

I just adore Matilda's sence of fashion! The little bow is too cute! Reminds me of me and my hat that I now obsess over! I used to wear a bow when I was real little myself.

Another thing I must say is I admire Matilda for her bravery and smarts! She is an amazing character who is inspiring to all. No matter what her parents and brother said she did what she wanted, she made her way,she stood her ground and never stoped being her.
I will say I am sure going to invest in buying a copy of the book Matilda by Roald Dahl and review that after I read it. I heard it is as good as the movie.

Why Mothers Need Their Sons

1. They teach their mothers that they can do anything!

 2. They let them know they are needed.
 3. They show them that everyday doesnt go by without a smile.

4. They always give their mommy's kisses when needed.

 5. They always bring them comfort when others cant or dont.

 6. They give their mommys the unconditional love they need and never knew they needed.

 7. They are the little helpers.

8. They give their mommys confidence and thumbs up in the kitchen.

9. They cuddle their mommys tightly to keep them safe from the monsters.

                                10. They protect their mommy's from the bad.

MOST OF ALL THEY TEACH THEIR MOMMYS THAT NOT ALL GUYS ARE BIG JERKS!

Every girl/woman is a Goddess!

In todays society there is a new trend "Thinspiriation". For those who dont know thinspiriation is the trend of annorexicia and bullemia along with other eating disorders and diets.
The goal for most women is to get into a size 0 even if it costs them their well being. Eating disorders are not just bad for your body but they are bad for your self esteem and the others around you. Once a family member or friend finds out they become concerned and try to help in any way or as many ways possible. Sometimes to the point it brings a great deal of stress upon them.
Not all woman who are annorexic or bullemic are in it for the thinspiration trend. No,there are women and even in rare cases men who suffer from it due to psycological issues. Even a verbaly abusive partner could be a cause. Even a brief comment about some ones weight or even girls telling eachother their weight can be a root cause of an eating disorder. Its a very serious matter that should be taken with compassion, not critizism. Ive heard people make snide comments about an annorexic or bullemic. Unfortunatly I blame thinspiration for the critizism because sadly there are those who are psycologicaly influenced and cannot escape it. Those are the ones who need compassion and support while over comming this illness.

All of us women do have the power and control to fight this "thinspiration" from ourselves, our friends, sisters, daughters, and other females you may have in your life along with future generations. What needs to be pointed out is that beauty is not a number its a natural right as a woman to be beautiful. There is nothing wrong with fun fashion and make up,no its all in expressing you and how you feel. Big girls are and can be beautful. By wearing the right jeans, tops they will look in that mirror and think "look at me!". Average size girls same thing and even just finding your own style will give you an impowering "look at me!" kind of feeling. Personally I love a pair of loose fitting jeans or cords and  a simple but cute top or plain t-shirt and if its cool a sweatshirt. I feel adorable in my modest comfortable attire. Another thing since I said the word modest,my mother had brought up that some one she knew was saying how hard it is to find modest clothing for girls. Personally I agree but I do know there is modest clothes out there! Dressing modest doent make you a nerd or prude. It just shows off your impowered confidence to walk out covered "no not like a nun!",covered in the appropriate way such as little cleavage or none and no booty shorts! It shows your self respect and self worth. Being beautiful or even sexy does not have to cost you your life, health and food life. It doesnt mean you need to buy the most expencive designer jeans or wear flashy clothing. No it is all about YOU. Beauty is a natural right not a number.

Magic in the Morning

This isnt going to be a long post, well most mine arnt long half the time to begin with hehe. I woke up very early this morning,I looked at the time, bundled up and watched as the sun came up. Unfortunantly I cant see the sun actually rise but I can see its beautiful light shine in and into the sky. So beautiful. I remember how every morning I would walk to school and breath in the cool crisp air, look at all the flowers waking up,the freashly watered green grass and my favorite the peaceful stillness.

Childhood Magic

Dont you remember looking up at the stars and moon at night? Wasnt the thought in your mind that they were magic? Do you ever remember when you would make a wish or wishes on stars?
I remember as a small wee girl at the ages of 4-5 I would stay up and look at the moon from my window. I would make a wish on the star that I was drawn to. Even as I got older I cannot sleep or do not sleep well unless I have the moon light shinning down on me. I always take a few minutes at night to just STOP and take in the beauty and magic of the night. The stillness of the stars and light of the moon is so captivating.
If people would do that and keep up with old childhood magic we would probably stay connected with out inner child. Our inner-child is the key to happiness. Its the key to life,as humans we have a natural "want" to still play! We all still have that "belief" in magic and the unknown or the "impossible". We still find excitment in freashly baked cookies, sprinklers, snow, holidays, the simplicity of life.
Go out side tonight look at the stars, stand under the moon light feel her glow and presence. In the summer blow bubbles, make popsicles using fun juices maybe mix them, run through the sprinklers, even go swimming. Color, write creative fun and silly stories, gets some clay or mudd and squish your hands and fingers in it maybe your toes too! During the holidays if you use a tree decorate it with the fun rainbow lights, fun and funky orniments, bake fun treats. Never loose love and excitment for the simple. The simple things in life are the most cherished later down the road when looking back.
